CHILLING DECORATIONS FOR VERY LITTLE COLD HARD CASH

Posted in Crafty

Step through the front door into this igloo where construction paper and balloons combine to create a Winter Wonderland.  If you are tired of run of the mill, store-bought decorations, you might “warm up” to these.

TRENDY, INEXPENSIVE NOTES

Booker T. Washington summed it up best when he said, “If you want to lift yourself up, lift up someone else”.  What better way to accomplish these two positive goals than by saying “Thank You” to someone?   Deborah Norville in her book,  Thank You Power, calls this phenomena, the boomerang effect.  You send a little gratitude someone’s way, and you both will reap the benefits.
One very effective way to accomplish this is with the age old custom of sending an old- fashioned, handwritten thank you note.

Thank you notes can be made, bought, or even recycled.   With a little ingenuity you can put little effort or great effort into the task and still accomplish the same goal .

These $1 packets of cards were from Target.  Simply attach little embellishments to give them a homemade touch.    What is most important is the handwritten note you will put on the inside.
