…has a little different meaning on this 747 jumbo jet located at the entrance to the Arlanda Airport in Stockholm, Sweden. It has been reconstructed into a 25 bedroom hostel with a view of the landing strip. Jumbo Stay has turned the cockpit into a “honeymoon suite” (their words, not mine). The honeymoon suite is the only bedroom with an ensuite bathroom. Not quite sure about spending the night – no problem - Jumbo Stay has an onboard café you can visit for coffee and a snack. Ever had the urge to walk on the wing of a plane – this might be your only opportunity. In the summer, take a stroll on their left wing observation deck.
